We spoke with Corinna Mapelli, co-owner of Trevil, to reflect on the highlights of our participation at Texcare 2024:
“Texcare 2024 exceeded our expectations, despite initial concerns about the stagnation of the German market. In an economic climate marked by recession, we feared low attendance, but the results were surprisingly positive: we welcomed numerous visitors, including both interested end customers and qualified international dealers.”
The organizers’ decision to reduce the duration of the event to four days proved to be a winning strategy. The shorter schedule, combined with the exclusion of the weekend, ensured a highly motivated and professional audience. While there was a lower turnout from Middle Eastern dealers—likely due to the overlap with Gulf Laundrex 2024 in Dubai—the quality of the contacts more than compensated for this numerical decline.
Spotlight on Our Products
One of the most rewarding moments was the interest sparked by the Pantastar, our trouser finisher. With its unique ability to finish both the waistband and the legs with creases, it attracted attention even from customers traditionally loyal to other brands.
Our double buck shirt finishers also garnered significant success. TreviTandem, featuring blowing technology, and PrestoTandem, hot plate unit, left a lasting impression. PrestoTandem, in particular, stood out for its automatic unloading system, which allows productivity to exceed 100 shirts per hour—an innovation showcased for the first time at Texcare.
A Promising Future
The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. Existing customers reaffirmed their trust in the reliability and performance of our products, while new contacts, particularly dealers, expressed their interest, citing our well-established brand reputation as a key factor.
Looking ahead, Texcare remains a pivotal event for the industry. We greatly appreciated the organizers’ efforts to enhance exhibitor services, especially those focused on increasing online visibility—a crucial element for success at modern trade shows.
